thought i would track the build of my 383 from start to finish. so here goes.

my dirty engine bay waiting to be pressure washed and painted

here is the empty block on the engine stand waiting to be machined

this is what happens when you buy a used intake manifold from an unknown condition engine

more carnage

all parts to be powder coated or recycled

AC bracket, power steering bracket, valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan out for powder coat. purchased a Circle D 3200 rpm stall and some 1.7 roller tip rockers. still waiting on the rest of my money to get in so i can order my balanced rotating assembly and get that block out to be machined and powder coated.

i like Cobalt Blue but im trying to match the color of my truck the best i can. ill post pics when the small parts get back this week and pics of the blue colors i like and see what you guys think.
